Government subsidy schemes for farmers:-
Farmers should do modern agriculture, that is, it is not possible if they rely on old traditional agriculture. Therefore, the government has implemented such a scheme to modernize farmers and agriculture. The purpose of this subsidy is:-
To increase mechanization in the agricultural sector.
Reducing farmers’ labor and costs.
Increasing yields through advanced machinery.
Eligibility to apply:-
Farmers must be residents of Karnataka.
Must have land (RTC/Cession document required).
Farmers must have completed the e-Kshana/eKYC course available with the department.
Subsidy is available only once per family.
Necessary documents required:-
Aadhar card
Land Record (RTC – pahani)
Bank Passbook (including IFSC)
Passport size photo
Category Certificate (SC/ST – if any)
What percentage subsidy will be available for this project:-
General Farmers – 40% (up to maximum ₹60,000)
SC/ST farmers – 50% (up to maximum ₹75,000)

Tractor (subsidized for utility range)
Power Tiller
Harvester
Seed sowing machines
Rotavators, plows, sprayers, fertilizer drills, etc.

Visit Karnataka Raitha Mitra Portal
Go to the “Farm Mechanization” section
If you are a new farmer – create a new account
If already registered – Login
Plan Selection:-
Select “ Agri Equipment Subsidy Scheme ” or “ Yanthra Bhagya Yojane ”
Select the machine name, price, and range.
Upload of documents:-
The above documents should be uploaded in JPG or PDF format.
Purchase and Bill Upload:-
After approval, purchase the machine from an authorized dealer .
After uploading the bill → the subsidy will be deposited directly into the bank account.
Application period:-
Invited 2-3 times a year
It is advisable to apply before the 2025 Kharif or Rabi season.
